A Love Letter to My Early Readers
Whew. It’s been since May 31. And my heart is bursting with gratitude, for every one of you who believed in me before a single page turned.
Introduction
Time has a way of slipping through our fingers, doesn’t it?
One moment, I was counting down to the launch of “The Faces of Transparency”. The next, I found myself sitting quietly in the stillness that followed.
These weeks since May 31 have been a mix of joy, exhaustion, reflection, and awe. I’ve been quieter than usual here on Substack, not because I’ve run out of words, but because I needed to let the experience sink in.
But today, there’s one thing I can’t keep to myself any longer: how much I appreciate you…my early readers.
Insights for Empowerment
When I first shared that I was writing this book, it was a leap of faith. I was stepping into unknown territory, daring to share the parts of my life that once felt too raw to speak out loud.
And you…my beautiful community, met my vulnerability with trust.
You preordered a book you hadn’t yet read. You believed in my voice, my story, and the hope that lives in truth. That’s not just support. That’s courage. That’s love.
I’ve thought often about each of you who hit that preorder button. Some of you are longtime friends. Some I’ve never met in person. But every single one of you became part of the fabric of this journey.
Your preorders weren’t just transactions. They were love letters written back to me, telling me:
“Your story matters.”
“We see you.”
“Keep going.”
When I held my first printed copy, I didn’t feel alone. I felt all of you there with me, turning the pages in spirit, sharing in this moment I once only dreamed about.
Some of you have already shared how certain chapters made you cry, how words mirrored your own hidden truths, or how you finally felt permission to start healing. These messages have touched me more deeply than I can say.
Together, we’re proving that transparency isn’t weakness…it’s freedom. And it’s connection.
Conclusion
So today, I’m writing this love letter to you.
Thank you for your trust, your preorders, your encouragement, and your quiet prayers whispered on my behalf.
Thank you for holding my words and my heart with such gentleness and grace.
This book belongs to all of us now. And I promise more stories are coming. Because The Faces of Transparency isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of new conversations and new courage for all of us.
Encouraging Nuggets
Never underestimate the power of believing in someone’s dream…even before it’s fully formed.
Transparency builds bridges where silence builds walls.
Your story has the power to heal, not just you, but others who need to know they’re not alone.

Awesome!!! Love you too! 💕🙏🏽
