As I was reading this, I reflected on my journey of healing, not so much the physical healing. But there were times when I looked into the mirror, and saw depression through my eyes, and the mirror opened my heart, and it was there as well. But now the mirror reflects a healing journey of God's strength, His compassion and His grace... and when I see myself in the mirror I smile and say... There she is, a woman who is becoming... thank you for this encouraging post that on the other side of the mirror, there is hope and we can live to breathe again πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½

Thank you so much for sharing this. What you said is so powerful because it speaks to a kind of healing that goes far beyond what people can see on the outside. To go from seeing depression in your own eyes to now seeing God’s strength, compassion, and grace reflected back to you is a testimony all by itself.

That line, β€œThere she is, a woman who is becoming,” is beautiful. That is the journey. Not perfection, but becoming. Not pretending, but healing. Not just surviving, but learning how to breathe again.

Thank you for receiving the message and for sharing your heart so openly. Your words will encourage someone else too.
